Our little fundraiser of the year Kobi Barrow has agreed to run the 40th edition of the London Marathon. Due to COVID restrictions, this years London Marathon will be held virtually. The virtual 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon will take place on Sunday 4 October and participants will have 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds (from 00:00 to 23:59:59 BST) to complete the 26.2 miles, which they can choose to run, walk or jog – making the event the most inclusive London Marathon ever!
Kobi, who will be walking for the most part, will be splitting the run into 2 or 3 parts over the course of the 24hrs. The route is yet to be decided but it will include lots of cake stops, ice cream stops and drinks stops.
The charity is hoping Kobi will raise enough funds for them to purchase and install a picnic table with wheelchair access at the existing Rhianna’s Swing park, in the Gnoll, Neath.
