img_6066On Sunday 23 rd October Peter Dale ran the Abingdon Marathon for Rhianna’s Swing.  It is a relatively small marathon but heavily subscribed by the army and is a championship route for several running clubs.  The weather was very cold at the 9am start but later turned to a beautiful autumn day.

img_4239Jo and Cheryl completed one of the hardest Marathons in the UK, Marathon Eryri (Snowdon Marathon).  The girls stuck together from the very start until the end.  They supported and helped each other overcome the notorious climbs of Snowdonia.  The weather was mixed at the start but got brighter and warmer as the race went on.  They finished with huge smiles on their faces and we are all so proud of them.

Together Peter, Jo and Cheryl raised over £200 for Rhianna’s Swing.  Thank you so much all.
